It's been a few months since I last wrote a journal. Well, in March I moved to Arizona to live with my mother and step-father for a while. I'm going to start school here soon. But as of right now I am really focusing on finding a job and loosing weight. I weighed myself when I first got here, I was 280lbs. I am overweight and I hate it, at 5'9"I should be at least under 190lbs. But the weight loss is going well. I've already lost about 8lbs since I've been here. I want to get to 200lbs before I start working on new cosplays. So it will be at least another few months before you see any WIP's.

RENAISSANCE FAIRE SEASON! FUCK YES!

Hello everyone!
It is Renaissance faire season! FUUUUCK YESSSSS! I am so excited. I've already been to one faire, the Ardenwood Shakespeare Festival. That was really fun.
I enjoy telling people what the Plague Doctor is and what they did. I'm surprised that a lot of people recognize the mask, but have no idea what it was for.
My next Faire is the Northern California Renaissance Faire, which actually started on the 17th.
But I'm going this saturday(24th), Avoiding october 1st like the plague (PUN WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT. But seriously its because it is pirate invasion weekend and I fucking hate pirates at my faires. I'm ok with one or two pirates or a crew. But not 10 million fucking jack sparrows.) And I also beleive i'm going on the 8th. Hitting it more because I wont be in California for next years faire, I'm moving to Arizona for a few years to do more schooling.
I may go to the Folsom Renaissance Faire, but I still need to convince my Dad about it. He has the car DX

FanimeCon 2011 Wrap up

Well, It's been two days since FanimeCon 2011 ended. I miss it already. I love being surrounded by people who enjoy cosplaying and know its all in good fun. There is no competition in cosplaying at Fanime, just appreciation for the really good ones and help offered to the not so good ones.
On Friday we all packed up the car and drove to the hotel in San Jose. The room was kinda small and soon it was like all of our bags exploded and there was costumes and wigs everywhere. Friday we crashed around 11pm and slept till 8am the next day then it was non stop cosplaying until about midnight. Same thing happened on Sunday. Monday was sad, last day bought some swords and some art prints. then we went home and I took a six hour nap
